A Minor Race native to Mochi (Ahkiweahi' 2516).
The Hlaia have entered into a steaakh relationship -- an "alliance" of sorts with the Aslan of Tlaukhu Bloc 6 (Uiktawa, Iykyasea and Faowaou) with the help of the Layaefui corporation. Ostensibly the two races are partners; critics often suggest that the Aslan in question are exploiting the Hlaia.
Either way, with Aslan help the Hlaia have become a reasonably prominent starfaring species in Ahkiweahi' Sector and its surrounds.
