Guaarin
Governor-General Guaarin (born 295-1062) has 40 years of experience in the Cavalry Branch of the Imperial Army. (Over 20 of that spent on anagathics). He has spent most of his career pursuing rank, both social and military. This is not to say that he is not a skilled commander, he merely has a dedication to his own agenda.
One of the high points of his carrer was his posting to Intelligence School and subsequent assignment to Army Intelligence. Guaarin commanded the 9861st Military Assistance Group in the Solomani Rim which performed counter intel operations in the Harlequin subsector. At the conclusion of his term, he was made a baron and spent the next year as a military aide on Capital.
When Duke Vincent of Epshu was forced out of power by the Navy in 1117, Guaarin was named Governor-General of the subsector. He was charged with pacifying the region and returning it to the Imperial fold. This he did with a vengeance. He is a firm believer in Lucan's "Any means to an end" philosophy. For his efforts, Guaarin has won Lucan's praise and Epshu's enmity.
