Subsector D of Kolire Sector.

Description[edit]

The subsector has a population of only 340.8 million, across 22 worlds. Scattered populations have established small settlements here, the largest generally being on agriculturally productive worlds. These colonies are often very hostile to interlopers.

Arguably the most successful pocket of civilization is at the subsector's rimward border, a cluster of worlds that provide access for high-jump vessels crossing the Kolire-Kidunal Sparsity. Kolire 2710 has a population of 100 million; within jump-1 reach are an agricultural supply world, a garden world ready to be developed, and two A-class starports complete with Naval Bases. The latter help build, repair, and supply vessels making the long trip between the Hive Federation and the far side of the Sparsity.

The single most important world, however, is Kolire 3007, a rich planet of 80 million, and perhaps the most economically influential world in the sector.
