This category is for Battle Class Ships (BCS), which are Naval Vessels larger than 2,500 tons displacement. Different sources disagree as to the upper cutoff range of the Battle Class, some cutting it at just below the range of Capital Vessels, others extending it into the lower range of smaller capital vessels. [1]

  • Private and Commercial sector terminology generally refers to vessels of this size category as the "Bulk Class" (BCS).
