Carillon

A Minor Race native to the eponymous planet Carillon, in Yiklerzdanzh Sector.

Description

The Carillon are known for their expertise in biotechnology, including genetic manipulation. Their general technological proficiency is rated at a maximum of TL-12, but some of their artefacts and even vessels are hard to categorise, being at least partially of organic construction.

Worlds and Populations

The Carillon control the Carillon Harmonies.

Several additional worlds in the surrounding region support small Carillon populations, sometimes alongside Humans, Talpaku and other species.

A Human-populated state at Dianzh Diatl (Yiklerzdanzh 1527) has accepted a status as a client of the Carillon Harmonies.

• -4650: Carillon fight civil war using biological weapons, Carillon thrown into dark age.
• -4364: Carillon Dark Age ends.
• -4200: Carillon reach TL-9.
• -4192: Carillon develop first bioengineered rocket, first Carillon in space.
• -4050: Carillon breed and release interstellar probes.
