Campaign:NHNE/Worlds/Catseye
Catseye is the only Gas Giant of the New Earth system
Astrography[edit]
see: New Earth System for astrographical context
Catseye is a small Gas Giant that orbits Coal-Fire at about 2.45 AU. It takes over 2230 days to do so.

Additionally, the L5 (Trailing Trojan) Lagrange Point has a group of dust and rocks of up to 10m diameter. None are mineralogically valuable. The L4 (Leading Trojan) Lagrange Point has notable dust concentrations but is graced only by a single rock - just 8mx25mx92m and known as "Catseye L4".
Lace and Moss both are airless, lacking in magnetosphere and within Catseye's radiation belt. They are effectively uninhabitable given current levels of understanding of their economic benefits.
Planetology[edit]
Summary[edit]
Catseye XLC0000-0 SGG
Starport[edit]
Catseye does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
Size[edit]
Catseye is a gas-giant world of about 34000km in diameter. It is 1.3G at the cloud tops which implies a substantial rocky core to this world.
Atmosphere[edit]
Catseye has a hydrogen atmosphere
Hydrosphere[edit]
Catseye has no simple surface between atmosphere and hydrosphere. The atmosphere just becomes more and more dense.
