Moss is a moon of Catseye the Coalfire Sub-System of the New Earth System

Catseye is a small gas-giant that orbits the star Coalfire at 2.45 AU. It take 2230 days to do so.
Moss orbits Catseye at 406,000km. This is within Catseye's radiation belts and thus Moss is currently uninhabitable, or (at best) marginally habitable.

Size[edit]
Moss is a Small World 1,100km in diameter. The world has low gravity of 0.045G. The horizon will appear about 1.5km away. It is tidally locked to Catseye but with a significant libration.
The highest point on Moss is the central peak of the Niikata Crater. This is a recent impact and rotated the "Down" axis by about 120 degrees - with the result that the most crated face of Moss is not the dark-side of that moon.
Atmosphere[edit]
Moss has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
