Basilisk class 16cm Towed Howitzer
These weapons are license built on Pessent (world) B979535-A and are deployed within the artillery battery of the Pessent Household Guards.
Basilisk class 16cm Towed Howitzer (TECH LEVEL 10)[edit]
This 16cm howitzer is carriage mounted and can be towed behind any of the M-66 Light Amphibious Wheeled APC based vehicles. It has a ROF 5, its indirect fire accuracy is +3 up to 18km(27km w/RAP) and +1 up to 36km(54km w/ RAP). It has a +5 signature when it fires. It takes 25 turns to set up for indirect fire missions. Rounds mass 70kg each and there is storage for 100 rounds, and it is fitted with an autoloader. It is fitted with a gun-shield to protect the crew. It requires a single gunner to crew it. Additional loaders are carried to reload the autoloader. It is fitted with a TL–7 fire direction center with can coordinate two separate targets for fire missions. It has TL–7 direct fire control and TL–10 indirect fire control. The weapon and its carriage cost Cr.582,525. Ammunition is sold separately. The normal crew size for this weapon is 15 for indirect fire and 4 for direct fire. This weapon requires two electronics technicians to maintain its systems.
