Pessent Household Guards

Tasked with the defense of Pessent (world) B979535-A the royal household guards are the size of a reinforced battalion. They have a single company of protected forces commandos that are qualified to function as marines off world should the need arise. Because the planetary population is so low the pool of available recruits is small. The sulfur tainted atmosphere necessitates complete head to toe CES with built-in filter masks, LI/IR face masks, with 20 power 0.1kg helmet radios. The primary infantry weapons are 9mm ACRs with integral 4cm RAM GL. They carry (11) magazines of DS ammo/rifleman. Each infantry rifleman costs Cr.2,245 to equip, which includes a single 4cm RAM HEAT 38 grenade. The protected forces company uses armored vacuum suits with accelerator rifles and squad support laser rifles.

The battalion has a headquarters and logistics company, which includes a recruitment and training platoon. There is a single M-88 Light Tracked Amphibious ARV/Workshop, and a single M-64 Battalion Aid Station/Surgical Van in the headquarters and support unit.

The M-66 Light Amphibious Wheeled APC is the basis for many of the unit's support vehicles and forms the backbone of the seven infantry companies. Each infantry company has a M-65 Light Amphibious 6x6 Wheeled Field Kitchen and a M-63 Light Amphibious 6x6 Wheeled Company Clearing Station/Ambulance in the HQ Section, and 12 M-66 Light Amphibious Wheeled APCs.

There is a battery of artillery with seven Basilisk class 16cm Towed Howitzers with 112 crew. Each gun has two M-66 Light Amphibious Wheeled APCs assigned to provide gun crews. One tows the gun and the other tows a trailer loaded with 100 additional rounds of ammunition for the howitzer.

There is a platoon of seven M-52 Tracked Amphibious Weapon Carriers with 21 crew.

There is a company of x14 M-41 Light Self-Propelled TAC Missile Carriers with 56 crew.

The air squadron has three B-30 Medium Bombers with 18 crew and three F-30 Medium Fighters with six crew.
