Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Authority controls sixteen systems in 1105.

The Polity Capital (Cx) of the Authority of Joekghr is Ikoeu (Kfazz Ghik 2536).

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Though Humaniti is found just coreward, the majority of this polity is populated with Suedzuk Vargr.

Neighbours[edit]

The Authority of Joekghr is naturally isolated, located in a region of low stellar density.

A small corsair band based in the asteroids of Dhollaror (Kfazz Ghik 2430) makes trouble for the Authority, but is unlikely to become a major threat; its personnel are much more likely to eventually defect and integrate with the Authority-aligned corsairs at Dhaeonaekas. Dhollaror is the only system within jump-2 reach of the Authority's borders.

The highly populated, industrial powerhouse of Dhago (Kfazz Ghik 3134) is a relative neighbour, but only accessible by jump-5.

To rimward in Trenchans Sector, the high-population systems of Sekar and its colonies Liizur and Khimgaaba represent another regional power, more centralised but far less able to control space between its holdings. Sekar and its colonies are Human-dominated, but with substantial and politically active Vargr populations.

No world articles for Authority of Joekghr

  • Zuksos (Kfazz Ghik 2033): Population, 900,000,000. There is an associated Naval base. There is no overall leadership, with the world listed as Balkanized.
  • Ghalleug (Kfazz Ghik 2035): Population 80 billion. There is an associated Naval base. It is a secondary administrative capital, by virtue of its hosting the central naval command.
  • Katsagae (Kfazz Ghik 2036): Population 60,000. There is an associated Naval base. More stable than other Authority worlds, it is under the control of a small group of ruling families.
  • Gaghaeikhae (Kfazz Ghik 2136): Population 80,000,000. A rich, agricultural garden world. There is an associated Naval base. The locals are kept, by long-standing agreement (especially long-standing by Vargr standards) at TL-1, having no technology beyond the bronze level. They dedicate themselves to agriculture and livestock farming, apparently happy with their lot, though outsiders might consider the set-up inherently exploitative.
  • Dhaeonaekas (Kfazz Ghik 2231): Population 200,000. An agricultural world. It is essentially a mini-civilization centred on a corsair band that periodically raids the worlds to core-trailing, the only systems within jump-2 range of the Authority.
  • Ghalkaghagh (Kfazz Ghik 2233): Population 10,000. A desert world with run-down low-tech settlements. There is an associated corsair base, by which the locals leech off the rest of the Authority.
  • Euellazllon (Kfazz Ghik 2332): Population 7,000,000. There is an associated corsair base.
  • Knaeke (Kfazz Ghik 2334): Population 10,000. Directly owned by the Authority, its administration is in the hands of the military. Technology is banned on the surface, as this world is used for survival training.
  • Eghe (Kfazz Ghik 2337): Population 2 billion. A garden world; unsurprisingly, this pleasant planet has attracted a large population. There is an associated Naval base.
  • Koezaegvue (Kfazz Ghik 2434): Population 70,000,000. There is an associated Naval base.
  • Ngoutaekh (Kfazz Ghik 2436): Population 600,000,000.
  • Suellael (Kfazz Ghik 2534): Population 200,000,000. A local Minor Race inhabits this planetoid, which lacks an atmosphere. They are at the equivalent of TL-2; the Vargr of the Authority are unsure of what to make of them, and generally leave them alone.
  • Ikoeu (Kfazz Ghik 2536): Population 200,000,000. A rich world, it serves as the Authority capital, but is split politically between various factions with their own visions for what, precisely, the Authority is.
  • Thoersoen (Kfazz Ghik 2537): Population 5,000,000. A rich desert world.
  • Ugarz (Kfazz Ghik 2634): Population 300,000. A non-industrial world. There is an associated corsair base. The governing corporation presents itself as a competitive option in force projection and violence to prevent a military monopoly.
  • Ognoer (Kfazz Ghik 2635): Population 900,000,000. There is an associated Naval base. The law level is high, an attempt to impose some control on the vigorously disagreeing political factions.
