History and Background

This world is part of the Democracy of Greats. Member worlds of the Democracy police themselves with local legislation and judiciary court systems. Extraterritoriality is upheld at each world's main Starport (whether it is a downport or a highport or, rarely, at both).

One of the seven Charismatic Greats of the Democracy officiates from this world.

The Traveller's Aid Society once maintained a hostel on Adhaeoe. This was the furthest operational TAS facility from the borders of the Third Imperium. As of 1105, it has been shut down.

World Starport (Sp)

Adhaeoe has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

• There is an associated Naval Base.
• Vargr starports reflect the variety of Vargr architecture, with many disparate styles of building, each having their own unique ornamentation and gaudy colour scheme, and all competing for the attention of the onlooker. Emblems for the major shipping lines and port facilities abound.
