ARM529 Warden class Close Fire Support Carrier
Designed and constructed for Anpaan Republic manufactured locally on Anpaan (world) at TL–11, these 8.5T G-Carriers are a mainstay of the Anpaan Republican Marines. Each fleet carrier deploys one of these very expensive vehicles to babysit their very small marine company. They have a much shorter range and operational endurance than the heavy raiders. The main variation on this basic design is the lighter and less expensive ARM101 Heavy Raider class G-Carrier. Originally intended to mount a massive 25cm rail gun/mass driver, the power input requirement proved to be prohibitive.

ARM529 Warden class Close Fire Support Carrier, TL 11[edit]
This award-winning design is pressurized and fully sealed with life support for the three crew and four passengers in vacuum and protected forces roles. It features an airlock and Protected Forces rated crystaliron armor and excellent speed when the weapons are off. There is a fire direction center which contributes 12MCr. toward the large sticker price. It allows the marines to prosecute 16 separate indirect fire missions with +2 initiative. The 10MW input rapid pulse plasma gun is fitted with point defense fire control to provide overwatch for the unit versus enemy indirect weapons fire and can engage enemy missiles within range. The 12cm Rail Gun can provide indirect fire support while stationary and direct fire support on the move. Finally, ten truly massive vertical launch cells contain extreme long-range missiles for theater level inceptor/air defense. The weapons and electronics require near constant maintenance and attention to maintain operational readiness, 4-5 full time technicians should be assigned to each of these beasts.
Chassis:[edit]
- Height: 2m; Width: 5.95m; Length: 10m.
- Total usable volume: 119m³
- Total mass loaded: 314.108208 metric tons.
- Hull Material: Crystaliron
- Armor: Chassis all faces 40.
- Target Size DMs: +3 low, no high hits
- Production Cost: Cr23,103,453.3
Movement:[edit]
The Grav APC has several movement regimes, the first is all weapons OFF 1.67G's maneuver Gs when fully loaded. NOE flight is limited by available TL–11 avionics and not the 840 tons of available thrust. The second has the plasma gun powered for 1.6 maneuver G's. The third setting has only the rail gun powered for 0.39 maneuver G's. It can't move with both weapons powered up at the same time.
- All Weapons OFF Speed:
- Maximum, 1,813kph/1,511cm; Cruise, 1,360kph/1,133cm, NOE 150kph/125cm.
- Rail Gun OFF, Plasma Gun ON Speed:
- Maximum, 1,779kph/1,482cm; Cruise, 1,334kph/1,112cm, NOE 150kph/125cm.
- Rail Gun ON, Plasma Gun OFF Speed:
- Maximum, 473kph/394cm; Cruise, 354kph/295cm, NOE 150kph/125cm.
- Movement effect on fire: None
Weapons:[edit]
Rail Gun[edit]
A 40.2-Megawatt input, hyper velocity stabilized 12cm mass driver (Rail Gun) fitted with TL 11 direct fire control, and TL 11 indirect fire control and is mounted in a retractable remote mount on the chassis deck.
- The vehicle requires 10.5 turns to set up for indirect fire missions. The vehicle can not move while engaged in indirect fire missions. It is slaved to the on-board TL–11 fire direction center and requires no communication with higher echelons to conduct fire missions. The vehicle has a ROF 20 and rounds mass 20kg (40kg RAP). It carries enough ammo for 20 fire missions (10 w/RAP).
- It has +0 signature when it fires and can engage two targets with direct fire.
- Onboard ammunition storage: 400 rounds. A full load of HE and/or smoke is included in the purchase price. The canister of (50) artillery scatterable, anti-personnel flechette mines are equipped with proximity triggers and remote radio-controlled detonation. These specialized rounds are sold separately.
| Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
| 3.5km (+2) | 4.5km (+1) | 8km (+0) |
| Range | Accuracy |
| 17km (25.5km RAP) | (+2) |
| 34km (51km RAP) | (-2) |

Rapid Pulse Plasma Gun[edit]
A fully stabilized 10 Megawatt-input, 1.2MW output, rapid pulse plasma gun fitted with a TL–11 point defense fire control and mounted in the front of the chassis. It can engage two targets and is +2 to hit.
- It is automatically spotted when it fires. It rolls 8d versus incoming rounds targeting the vehicle. The plasma gun input is optimized for peak penetration at effective range, but its power draw slows the vehicle. With the weapon off, the vehicle's movement characteristics improve.
| Effective Range / Plasma Bolt |
Long Range / Plasma Bolt |
Extreme Range / Plasma Bolt |
| 1.09km (40) / 1cm (24) | 2.19km (28) / 1cm (12) | 4.38km (4) /-(-) |
TAC Missiles[edit]
There are ten 1,500kg capacity vertical launch silos in the back of the chassis. They use a very heavy 24kg 30cm HEAP 59 warhead and there is no storage for additional missiles. Support vehicles fitted with cranes are required to reload these vehicles. The most expensive variant is typically loaded. Other versions with other guidance packages are available in the inventory. The typical missile load-out is listed below and they are included in the purchase price. In general, these missiles can destroy most enemy vehicles they typically encounter and have extremely long range. The smart, fire and forget aspects of the target memory guidance packages are +3 to hit but are limited by the velocity of the target (x3 speed MOD). They work best versus stationary targets. The hypervelocity variants are used to offset this deficiency.
| Type | Range | Price |
| (10) Target Memory Missiles +3 DM | 519km or 509km +10 Hypervelocity DM | Cr8,417 |
| Homing Missiles | 564km or 554km +10 Hypervelocity DM | Cr1,919 |
| Teleguided Missiles w/Radio Command Link | 519km or 509km +10 Hypervelocity DM | Cr3,318 |
| (5) Operator Guided Missiles w/Radio Command Link +3 DM | 540km or 530km +10 Hypervelocity DM | Cr1,818 |
