The 42nd Planetary Assault Battalion was a unit that fought in the Fifth Frontier War.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The 42nd Planetary Assault Battalion was an over-strength, notionally Battalion sized, TL–13, Jump Infantry unit of the Zhodani Consulate Army funded by and manned by volunteers from the Province of Iadr Nsobl.
The unit was considerably over-strength compared to Imperial battalions - presumably to cater for the losses expected in their assault role.
