Description (Specifications)

Physiology & Environment (Ecology): The Zhurphani are 2 meter tall bipedal omnivores. They weigh from 40 to 150 kilograms and have two arms. They have 2 eyes in the front of their head with 2 ears above and a many-toothed mouth below. They can see in both normal light and in infrared. They appear to be vaguely reptilian but are actually warm-blooded.

History & Background (Dossier)

The three branches of Zhurphani diverged from the parent sophont species recently (...within the last few hundred thousand years). The parent species created a wide-spanning network of cities which controlled the planet's dwindling water supply. Long after that civilization's spires had become dusty ruins, the species diverged to accommodate to the evolving climate zones of Yori.
