Designed and manufactured at TL–11, these vehicles were license built for the Enlightened at Blass (world), along the Distant Fringe. The vehicle has a single crew member.
Enlightened Yeren class Combat Walker, TL 11
The vehicle's crystaliron armor is not Protected Forces rated. The mass required would have crippled the bipedal suspension system. The design is sealed with life support for the crew member. They are still required to wear Vacc Suits for additional radiation shielding and in case they must use the ejection seat to escape. They are delivered with a fitted ablative foam re-entry heat shield, which is integrated with a 104.44986-liter cryo-fueled drop tank which grants an additional 43.5 hours (1.8 days) of operational endurance for the vehicle's compact fusion power plant. This re-entry kit is of no use over vacuum worlds or planets with very thin atmospheres which prohibit the parachute functions. They carry a small arsenal of weapon systems and can deploy countermeasures to enhance their survival. A low power 0.9MW plasma gun system was under consideration, but the bigger, and more expensive pulse laser had better overall performance. They never get stuck in mud, sand, soft earth, or snow thanks to their rugged suspension and moderate ground pressure. Above the two-legged suspension, the upper torso/turret can rotate 360 degrees with the seated crew member inside. Battalions of 240 combat walkers, composed of two companies of walkers and a headquarters and support company have been added to planetary defense battalions. Some military analysists suspect they were envisioned as offensive, first-in assault platforms. The lack of anti-grav and thicker armor restricts their planetary deployment. Their weapon systems are a good compliment to the Enlightened 2T class Air Rafts, although due to political or bureaucratic inefficiencies they are equipped with a compact laser communication array which is typically incompatible with the maser rigs of the air/rafts.

Full weapons stabilization.
Front Chassis Mounted Pulse Laser
There is a stabilized single lens pulse with 0.9 MW input/output. It can engage a single target and has +0 signature when it fires. It has TL–11 direct fire control and a 0.903MWS capacitor/battery array. The weapon is capable of far greater ranges than the fire control will allow. The penetration is subject to attenuation over range.
| Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
| 1.8km (26) | 3.6km (18) | 8.0km (10) |
TAC Missiles
There is a pod of ten 18kg capacity launch rails on the left shoulder. There are onboard guidance packages for fiber optical wire operator guided and teleguided missiles. They use a 21cm HEAP 54 warhead. It takes a single crew member to manually reload these missiles externally if additional rounds are available. There is one expensive teleguided missile with a fiber optic cable serving as the command link. It can engage vehicles executing pop-ups and fired from a pop-up. There are two operator guided missiles with the same "wire" command link. These three weapons are included in the price. Unfettered by smoke which defeat target designation, and ignoring ECM which breaks homing missiles' target lock; they are none the less handicapped by short range.
| Type | Range | Price |
| Teleguided HEAP 54 | 3.9km | Cr1,671.6 |
| Operator Guided +3 DM to hit HEAP 54 | 7.9km | Cr172.6 |
Power / Equipment:
- Power: a custom, compact 1.6-megawatt fusion power plant
- consumes 2.4 liters of fuel/ hour; internal fuel capacity is 83.602 liters, enough for 34.8 hours (1.4 days). This is typically extended by the use of the drop tank fitted to the ablative reentry heat shield.
- Sealed environment with extended life support for a single crew member (proof against CBR/NBC threats);
- 10 bottles of prismatic aerosols
- 50 2cm 0.2kg 20cm burst radius cannisters of CHAFF
- 50 2cm 0.2kg 20cm burst radius IR Flares
- 20kg shaped breaching charge HEAP 56 limpet mine
- Chemical mine sniffer
- Basic ECM
