Lii-rat (Creature) Synopsis

Lii-rats are a genetically engineered version of the rat, a creature native to Terra (Solomani Rim 1827), and the unintended results of a failed experiment to breed artificial game animals for sophontic hunters.

Lii-rat (Creature) Physiology & Ecology

Lii-rats were once part of a program to create an artificial ecosystem of life on Liikirba (Dagudashaag 1705).

The modified rats continued their forced evolution on the alien world. The final results were a large, aggressive carnivore, working in packs to bring down almost any prey.

Lii-rat (Creature) History & Background (Dossier)

The rats were used as part of the experimental stock on Liikirba (Dagudashaag 1705) as part of their larger geneering program. This program was started during the First Imperium as part of Makhidkarun hunter paradise program.

The Long Night forced Liikirba to be abandoned, with the various experiments escaping into the larger environment.

When the colony on Liikirba was re-established in -233, the Lii-rats proved to be interesting hindrance.
