Built for the Federation of Heron this class of TL–14 Frigate is very unusual. It packs a strong weapons load in a class, smaller than a typical imperial light cruiser. It is delivered with a set of jump 2 L-HYD tanks to extend its range. The weapons include a battery of ten triple sand caster turrets, a repulsor bay, a battery of triple beam laser turrets, three missile bays, a particle accelerator bay, a battery of ten dual fusion gun turrets and a spinal mounted meson gun. There is light armor cladding, nuclear dampers and a meson screen for defense. The power requirements of the spinal mount rob the design of its agility. It is a streamlined needle/wedge configuration for ocean refueling with its scoops. It lacks fuel refineries, carries no troops and has no subcraft of its own. It has jump 2 range, 6 Gs acceleration and no agility.
