A prison world located in the Bolivar Subsector of Dagudashaag. Danse is a member of the Imperium. The system contains a Scout Base.

Danse is peculiar in that it is an exile camp for political dissidents. The forefathers of the present 80 million population were exiles from all over the empire, sent to Danse during the 700s anti-imperialist dissident clean-up. None were from Dagudashaag sector, a standard practice at the time.

This large, inhospitable world has very little in its favor except the population, who are warm, friendly, and honest to a fault. Since the planet was colonized 300 year before the population has elevated itself from TL–0 to TL–8. During its history as an exile camp there has never been an escape attempt of any sort; violence is extremely rare, hence the low law level. There are very few written laws on Danse as there is little need for them. The populace has never made any demands on the Imperium for assistance, and has achieved its tech level and infrastructure through hard work and dedication to a common belief structure. Although this planet is monitored as though it were an Amber Zone, the IISS has been prevented, for political reasons, from issuing the rating.

Despite its corrosive atmosphere, its continual storms, lack of trade, and low temperatures, Danse is a great planet to visit.
