Delphi was colonized eary in the Rule of Man, primarily from Terra and older Terran colonies. Its system is well-developed, with mining and resource-gathering bases on several planets. It has suffered its share of Reaver attacks, but its strong Navy and underwater cities have made it a difficult target. In 3112, Delphi made an alliance with Ashima, and in the past 650 years this has grown into the Delphi Union, a small but strong interstellar state. Delphi and Ashima are the controlling partners in the Union, while Lopadusa, Petod, Hajaar, and Iulii are operated as colony worlds controlled by the Union government. Nexus joined the Union in 3716, with an unusual status as a semi-independent member, but without any vote in the Union Council.
