The Yeoman class Attack Cargo Vessel is an armed cargo vessel, designed to transport war matériel or troops to war zones or to re-supply Naval vessels.
Description (Specifications)
It uses a 400 tonne hull. It carries a Powerplant IX, giving the ship Jump 1 and Manoeuvre 2G. There is fuel tankage for 50 tonnes, giving one Jump and allowing the use of the powerplant, with around 10 tonnes as a reserve. The standard bridge has a Model/6 computer installed. There are 5 single crew cabins, 3 double crew cabins, and 10 cold capsules. The ship carries two double turrets, with weapons and fire control installed. A launch is carried in a boat garage beneath the hold. A cargo hold of 140 tonnes is included; this hold can be fitted up to hold cargo or troops. The ship is streamlined, having a hull configuration in the shape of a broad oval, with a flattened ventral plane and an enlarged rectangular stern, featuring 2 large triangular fins. The Yeoman class requires a crew of 9; commander, pilot, medic, 2 engineers, navigator, steward, and 2 gunners.
This ship costs MCr101.03 and takes 14 standard months to build.
