A narrow spur of stars in Nabile Subsector of Bourne Sector. It is named for the Abbot system (1337 Bourne), the furthest spinward-coreward point within the Distant Fringe that it is possible to reach using conventional vessels. The Department of Early History of the University of Tal Varisa funded the construction of the Nabile Deep Space Fuel Cache to allow access to the Nabile system (1634 Bourne), believed to have been the point where the Last Armada entered the Distant Fringe in 2254AD.
