Halcyonic New Republic

A successor state to the Second Confederation in Halcyon Sector, founded in 3401AD.

• It had its capital at Scybria (2012 Halcyon) and its territory had formed the Expansionist faction heartlands during the civil wars.

Description / Specifications

Each member world was represented by Senators and the head of state was the President. It was heavily influenced by the so-called Mantlerist movement, declaring universal freedoms, personal liberty, and principles of social care as the underlying foundations of the state. The ordinary citizens had a strong dislike of privilege and throughout its existence there was internal friction with land-owning Fives.

In 3638AD the New Republic merged with the Collective of Nist to form the Grand Ascendency.
