The continuing policy of Worlds of Rukh for blaming enemies for all internal problems comes to a head in 1123 with the melt down of a large power plant and the contamination of a major city on Orra (Gvurrdon 0929). The ruling council blames the Anti-Rukh Coalition and, in an effort to show it capable of action, declare war and attacks the Anti-Rukh worlds. Despite being outnumbered by 15 to 1 or more, the Anti-Rukh forces manage to inflict serious damage on Rukh ships and bases.

By the end of the year the Anti-Rukh worlds are unable to defend themselves, and the war ends. The Rukh forces are unable to consolidate their gains and never claim the worlds they attack. The damage inflicted on the Rukh ships and bases during the war is never recovered from and eventually splinters the Rukh government.
