Description (Specifications)
The Zarthurre Triangle refers to a Tech Level graduating, triangular slave trade route in Zarthurre subsector of Knoellighz Sector, along the border to Dhuerorrg Sector. This node of lawless to low-Law trade takes advantage of primitive, pre-spaceflight and pre-stellar worlds' populations, each being sold to the next higher technology bracket for various tasks and jobs.
History & Background (Dossier)
Two polities, the Democracy of Greats and the Oculus Alignment quietly take advantage of the top tier of slaves brought out of the non-aligned worlds to their refineries, factories, brothels, and other low-society theatres of workforce. Very little regulation save by Corsair activity and polity 'immigration' laws slow the Zarthurre Triangle until Hard Times, circa 1120.
The Democracy of Greats is slowly creeping from Zarthurre subsector in its Coreward frontier conquest, but its rate is slower than other polities. Since the dregs of society are typically found on the Rimward-Trailing edge of the polities of Knoellighz Sector, little to none of the Navies take notice of the flesh-and-fur trade. Being largely an expansion from Dhuerorrg Sector, the Greats have little care for the lessers settling from Rimward Gvurrdon Sector.
Similarly but stationary is the Oculus Alignment's influx of needed slaves to continue their operations on dangerous or Failing worlds in their polity. Slowest of the empires of Knoellighz Sector to expand due to poor world choice early in the pioneer days of Zarthurre, the Oculus Alignment is currently content to fuel its industry with lower-Tech slaves that are listed as 'volunteers', a secret lost in the red tape of the needy governments.
