A poor, non-agricultural Imperial world located in the Lanth Subsector of the Spinward Marches.
Description (Planetology)
In addition to the City of Treece, other major settlements on Treece include Witmansburg, Dishak, and Kihulam.
History & Background (Dossier)
Non-canon: The poverty stricken world of Treece was most notable for its export of gallowglass troops for use by interested factions in the Imperial government, or by anyone that could afford their services. When the market for mercs imploded in the Post-Collapse period, the world subsisted upon remittances sent home by the large Treecian contingent in the military and Quarantine Service. The world gained its independence in 1162, perceiving that Inthe was stealing a good portion of this money for its own use.
Timeline
