General Overview
Media, Leisure, and Tourism is a business sector focused on recreation, entertainment, and the provision of premier services.
It involves publishing and journalism in a variety of forms, games and gaming, gambling, personal and public entertainment such as holomovies, and live music or performances. It includes the upkeep and marketing of vacation spots, historical sites, hotels, hostels, spas and health clubs. It provides tourist activities such as vacation destinations, tours, and adventure travel such as mountaineering and safaris. Sporting events of all kinds are included, as are premier shops and boutiques, retail parks and malls.
There is a certain amount of cross-over with businesses considered to be part of the Agriculture, Food, and Luxuries and Transport and Logistics sectors.
