The Wolvesbane class System Defense Boat is a common sight along the Imperial border where Vargr incursions are expected.
Description (Specifications)
They carry massive armor and a powerful model 9fib computer. Each crew member has their own stateroom to make lengthy patrols more comfortable. The huge power plant can power the computer, allows high agility maneuvering and has power left over for a triple beam laser turret. System defense squadrons have been acquiring these updated models to replace older versions of the same basic design.
History & Background (Dossier)
Squadrons of these sleek craft hide in gas giants or cometary belts and have secure links to system range sensor nets. Once the quarry is detected, they can easily pursue with their 6G acceleration and high agility.
