Kadgishbur is a desert world with a thin tainted atmosphere. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Old Suns Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Kadgishbur, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world.
Description (Planetology)
Kadgishbur is a beautiful ice-covered world. This vast expanse of frozen tundra derives its unique blue coloration from the pollen of snow lilies which grow only in the short spring. The pollen is carried upon the winds and settles across the terrain in beautiful kilometre-wide spirals. Many beasts including the Laqua and Remaun come here to graze on the fillies and lap up the plants' nutritious pollen. This in turn attracts the Frost Weres that slaughter the herbivores in their thousands. From this is derived the common saying “as enticing as Kadgishbur pollen and just as deadly”.
History & Background (Dossier)
During the Long Night this world was named Uurim.
