The Rukh War is an ongoing conflict occurring within the Vargr Extents

  • It is an assymetrical conflict

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The continuing policy of Worlds of Rukh for blaming enemies for all internal problems came to a head in 1123 with the melt down of a large power plant and the contamination of a major city on Orra (Gvurrdon 0929).

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The ruling council blamed the Anti-Rukh Coalition and, in an effort to show itself capable of action, declared war and attacked the Anti-Rukh worlds. Despite being outnumbered by 15 to 1 or more, the Anti-Rukh forces managed to inflict serious damage on Rukh forces.

By the end of the year the Anti-Rukh worlds were unable to defend themselves, and the war ended. But the Rukh forces were unable to consolidate their gains and Rukh never claimed the worlds they had attacked. Rukh ships and bases never recovered from the damage inflicted during the war; this eventually splintered the Rukh government.
