- This world has a research station engaged in the scientific pursuit of knowledge.
- It is a client state of the Third Imperium in the Ashishinipar Subsector of Corridor Sector.
- During the Long Night this world was know as Gizika.

Tarin Sink is an Imperial client state and site of Corridor Research Station Gamma.
- The planet was colonized by nine extended families during the wave of spinward expansion in the late 300s.
- Most of Tarin Sink's modern inhabitants are their descendants.
World Starport[edit]
Tarin Sink has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
