A Terran-derived language that is a secondary tongue within the Amec Protectorate, a semi-autonomous region of the Third Imperium.
Description[edit]
The language is a hybrid of several African dialects, including Swahili. It is primarily used as a second language by the Ba' (people) of African descent.
Among the Solomani Humans within the Amec region who speak it are the Bu’Akan, who descended from the Akan people of Ghana.
Lexicon[edit]
• Ba'Menelik: "People of Menelik", after the legendary son of King Solomon, used to refer to worshippers of the Church of Ethiopia.
• Nkisi: Bu'Akan religion, from an old Terran term for spirits or objects that spirits inhabited
• Tana eh’timkaat: The Ba'Menelik homeland on Eddum (Dagudashaag 0531)
