A Shirtsleeve World is a planet on which no standard survival gear is required for conventional life.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Shirtsleeve Worlds require minimal survival equipment, suits, masks, filters, and the like. This means that conventional life sophonts can literally step off their colony ships and begin to make a new life on such worlds. However, not every world which is a shortsleeve world is also a paradise world, a garden world. Still, they are much preferable to poorly inhabitable worlds with a low planetary desirability.
