A defunct polity of the Gateway Sector. Rimward of the Galian Trade League, the Collective formed as a socialist experiment. It later became one of the two foundational States of the modern Viyard Concourse.

History & Background (Dossier)
The Collective was founded on the success of a workers' revolt, during a series of them in Gateway Sector; this one on Balaclaron (Gateway 1637) in 320. Growing slowly.the Collective assimilated the Viyard Alliance in 752, setting in motion the political events which ended with the first Viyard-Galian War. The war ended in 758 with the Treaty of Umbrin.

- were incorporated into the new Viyard Concourse, which was essentially the old Collective, expanded and under a new name.
