Abbayi supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Argi Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Abbayi, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world. 30% of the world's population is the Major Race Vargr. During the Long Night this world was named Giuuma.

Astrography and planetology

With a mean surface temperature of -74°C and a gravity of 0.69g, Abbayi is a cold, dismal world. The several active volcanoes in the habitable zone provide some localised heat.

History and background

Abbayi is mainly a mined-out world with little to recommend it to visitors were it not for its inter-denominatonal religious seminary.

The planet is currently best known for its settlement by several religions, including the Scanians, Vargr Church of the Chosen Ones, The Church of the Stellar Divinity, and the Khaarkhi Cult. All of these groups have established a shared centre for religious discussion.

A secret Psionics Institute has been established here by the Scanians, for training of Sanheichiir.
