QuikLink Interactive was founded in 1998 CE by Hunter Gordon and in 1999 acquired Generic Role-Playing for Internet Players (GRiP), a software package to allow groups to play RPGs over the internet, as well as a license to Traveller.
- A second version of GRiP came with a reprint of the Classic Traveller books 1-3 and a special Traveller box.
- Steve Bryant and Hunter Gordon were never able to get the finalized product to market. Hunter's health failed before it happened.
- Today (...in 2019 CE) a variety of platforms exist for online play. GRiP, perhaps, happened before its time.
