The [[Square Manta]] is an exothermic insectvore with a long, sticky tongue. Found during a survey of {{WorldS|Rann (SR 3106)|Solomani Rim|3106}}, these creatures were adapted as a form of natural insect repellant. Their chitin is a blue-gray appearance, with a few rare specimens a bright green-gray.

The outer skin is tough enough to act as armor against primitive weapons. And the still living square manta consumes the insects that approach the wearer.
