The Taktsang Pirates were a group that raided near Sparks in the Belt. Having taken several ships, the Government of the Belt decided to step in and sent a major task force to suppress the Piracy. Perhaps foolishly, the leadership of this group determined to make a stand rather than just fading into the dark.
The Taktsang Pirates Campaign saw several bases cleared out before the battle - and the battle was unexpectedly destructive for the pro-Government forces. However, the band ceased to exist as a result. By the end of 299 the war was over.

The Taktsang Pirates were formed in 286 by Captain Lano Jukes. They had effectively ceased to exist as a pirate force by 298 and their final bases were captured in 299.
