Brilliant nanotechnology researcher and emeritus professor of Developmental Nanochemistry at the Free University of Ushra (1037-1109). His theories led to the development of a new generation of truly practicable molecular machines. Their applications include extracting valuable elements from their ores, "growing" complex devices from their raw materials, and performing multiple programmed corrections to DNA molecules.
Karl Gantz died of a previously undetected pulmonary embolism in 1109. His stock holdings in the Drexen Corporation passed to his son, Dr. Julian Gantz. There have been suggestions that Karl Gantz was in dispute with the company at the time of his death, but no evidence of foul play has been found.
