The Xebec class Explorer is an armed starship.
- It is a paramilitary ship and a heavily armed Scout Vessel.
This is an inexpensive, partially streamlined spherical hulled starship. It was built for the Izrats Kriezhlas Unity, it carries a frozen watch, and it appears to be Vlazhdumecta crewed. There is a vast cargo hold for merchant trading and for extended scouting expeditions. Ship's vehicles include a pair of ten ton light fighters, two G-carriers, two air rafts, and two fifty ton cutters. The crew includes a pilot/captain, navigator, science/medical officer, six flight/vehicle crew, four engineers, and four gunners. It carries no marines. There are seventeen individual staterooms for crew comfort and to avoid crowding. The ship is equipped for wilderness refueling. Equipped with only a modest model/2 computer. Although it is a TL–13 design it is limited to Jump-2 range, and has 2-Gs of acceleration and no agility. It is armed with four triple missile turrets, two triple beam laser turrets, two double fusion gun turrets, and two triple sand caster turrets for defense.
