Enlightened 3T Lynx class tracked APC, TL 6
The vehicle's hard steel armor sheaths the chassis and turret to levels of protection to protect versus bullets and shell fragments. An improved internal combustion power plant and transmission are linked to a large tracked suspension with low ground pressure to avoid becoming bogged down in sand, snow, mud or soft soils. The turret mounted HMG can help deal with encroaching infantry can engage air craft and light armor. It is not stabilized to fire effectively on the move. The vehicle has an operational range of 264km by roads and 158km cross country. If the vehicle was properly sealed it could be amphibious. Because of its light construction it has a good power to weight ratio and is quick. This inexpensive and versatile design forms the basis for a family of vehicles which fill a variety of roles.
