The Rhala Trees are a family of trees native to Ilelish, where various species form large forests.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Rhala have natural hollows within their trunks, where animals shelter. The largest rhala were native to the now-devestated equatorial region of Ilelish; smaller species are still found across the planet and on other Suerrat worlds.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
In Suerrat Culture, this is an important kind of flora.
- Primitive Suerrat inhabited the interconnected hollows within tropical rhala trees, and even today many Suerrat continue to live within them. External structures constructed primarily from wood were added in the branches of the trees and in the modern age floating platforms are built beside them.
The Suerrat also use the trees to create several foods and drinks, among them:
- Rhalaki: An alcohol made from the fermented leaves from several rhala species.
- Rhalonni: A hot drink made from the dried bark of certain species of rhala.
Treeball is a sport traditionally played among the branches of rhala trees.
