Editing Corolian Border Wars

5244AD–5266AD. A series of conflicts and engagements between the [[Scybrian Polyarchy]] and the [[Corolian Jurisdicture]], largely fought in [[Tsorva Subsector]] (subsector F of [[Halcyon Sector]]). The wars concerned settlement disputes, mineral rights, and territorial claims in the neutral systems that lay between the two states. They were characterised by small-scale naval skirmishes and by mercenary actions financed by interested parties.

Most of the conflicts were brief affairs, with the fighting concluded and a treaty agreed before news of the outbreak of hostilities reached the respective capitals. Some of the Border Wars, most notably the [[Haden Insurgency]], lasted for decades and cost many thousands of lives. The Border Wars as a whole are considered to be the opening conflict of the Scybrian wars. They were ended by the formal ratification of accords and agreements that led to the Short Peace.
