Yahg is an addictive hallucinogen derived from the Broadleaf plant, a species native to Bountiful (Dagudashaag 1934). It is available in two forms, a thick resin and a more potent liquid. It is administered orally and takes effect within half an hour of ingestion. Its effects range from mild euphoria to lucid hallucination. Side effects include poor health and insomnia or nightmares. Overdosing causes brain damage or death. The user's body becomes accustomed to its effects, users must take progressively larger doses to achieve the effects.

The drug is illegal on most worlds and transporting it within Imperial space carries a minimum ten year prison sentence.
