Web Edge Consortium

A commercial union governed by the Web Edge Agreement, for alien interaction with the I'Sred*Ni Protectorate.

For a long time, the only contact permitted by the Sred*Ni was through the Corellan League's Shalukin Consortium. In 638, the Imperial Interstellar Scout Service contacted the Sred*Ni through these Corellan intermediaries and began negotiations, emphasising the vast power, wealth and technology of their distant empire.

Several Imperial corporations came together to form the Consortium.

In 648, the Protectorate, the Third Imperium (through the Consortium), the Monarchy of Lod, the Thoznaen Empire (a local power of Marrakesh Subsector), and four major Aslan clans signed the Web Edge Agreement, opening a Protectorate embassy and trade enclave on a moon that came to be named Web Edge (Beyond 2514).
