Vehko is a rich, agricultural, nonindustrial garden world with a near-ideal, utopian environment conducive to most sophonts and high-grade living conditions due to a bustling economy.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.

- This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- Its economy and population are rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to quickly rise barring outside forces.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Ankhsusgar Subsector of Gushemege Sector in the Domain of Vland.
- This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling IISS starships and personnel.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Vehko has adopted an economic principle that sets it apart from many worlds in the Imperium. On Vehko there is no income tax, instead it is the use of resources, by individuals or companies, that is heavily taxed. This has had two main effects.
- Companies are careful to use the lower taxed renewable resources, and not to damage existing resources through pollution ( which is counted as "part use" ).
- Since manpower is cheap but machinery is not, many production processes are conducted using traditional labor intensive, and generally environmentally friendly, methods.
Since agriculture fits better with such an economy than manufacturing it is no surprise that Vehko has developed primarily as an agricultural world. Visiting traders often remain in orbit to avoid the punative resource taxes for spacecraft. The key exports are unprocessed agricultural goods, and the most popular imports are resource intensive machinery and vehicles.
Local Nobility[edit]
Vehko, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of two members of the Imperial Nobility, who are charged with overseeing the world.
