The Vari Gap is an astrographic feature lying towards the coreward edge of Mavuzog Sector.

  • It is a rift area of low stellar density.
  • It is a barrier to expansion and interstellar commerce.

The Vari Gap is an area of lower stellar density, one of the many rifts and voids making up part of the greater Idella Rift region.

The Vari Gap hampers trade and commerce within the subsector, which largely depends on Jump-2 vessels.

  • The Gap cannot be routinely crossed by most merchant vessels.
  • It has served as an obstacle to expansion to coreward.
