Welcome[edit]
Hi, welcome to Traveller RPG! Thanks for your edit to the Paya (world) page.
Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- Tjoneslo (Talk) 06:32, December 19, 2009
Hey, just wanted to let you know I did a little cleanup on Paya. I believe it is important that we keep non-canon material clearly marked as such, even if it is an extrapolation of canon material. I also clarified the sources you used, as well as those from the timeline, in determining which was canon and not. Other users like myself and certainly the admins do appreciate your efforts so keep it up :) --Lotherius 15:36, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Ta, it reads better :) I have a couple of questions, including "will you read this!".
I can't find the help file for inserting a template. ???
- Help Templates is the official source. Our Manual of Style has an overview of all the markup and style we like to use. Template List has the complete list of valid templates.
On the Paya Light Freighter page, you indicate a ship template should be used. Is that intended to be as well as a USP (if desired) or instead of? This touches on what is "in-game" content vs "out of game" content. I'm guessing putting "out of game" content on the talk page is ok.
- The Template: InfoboxShip is what is being referred to here. Out of game content on the talk page is just fine.
The Meta data I included for Paya, I notice you put it in the talk page rather than a metagame template. Ease of late night editing or another reason?
- The preferred place to put this kind of information is on the page created by Template: Meta. Though the Talk page is the usual default.
Thanks for the edits, I figured the best way to figure it out was to dive in. cheers --Matt Stevens 21:02, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
