The Acaran Snarl is an astrographic feature located in the Magyar Sector.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Acaran Snarl is a main of seventy-seven systems.
- Three systems are located in the New Mars Subsector.
- Twenty-five systems are located in the Swan Subsector.
- Twenty systems are located in the Valhalla Subsector.
- One system is located in the Voyager Subsector.
- Thirteen systems are located in the New Town Subsector.
- Two systems are located in the Nemo Subsector.
- Fourteen systems are located in the Iouo Subsector.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The highest population world on the main, with approximately eight billion inhabitants is Iouo (Iouo Subsector, 0624).
The Acaran Snarl is the largest main in the Magyar Sector and the second largest main in the Solomani Sphere. It serves as the primary spinward-trailing Jump-1 route across the sector and can be used to reach Jump-2 gaps to the New Slavic Solidarity and Reformed Dootchen Estates. In the New Mars Subsector it is possible to reach the Rim Main with two J-2 jumps.
