Notes (2015)[edit]
DUDE, give me a chance to finish. Ronald B. Kline, Jr. (talk) 16:38, 7 April 2015 (EDT)
- Oops, sorry. Maksim-Smelchak (talk) 16:39, 7 April 2015 (EDT)
NP, you're are so fast and efficient, I putter and fiddle, I was mid edit, one of many to be sure and boom swoosh, you were in there. I promise you can correct all my mistakes AFTER I make them :) Ronald B. Kline, Jr. (talk) 16:43, 7 April 2015 (EDT)
- It's ok when that happens. Just press the "back arrow" and it should take you back to your work. Happens to me all the time when someone comes in and edits something I am doing. The refresh button works fine too. Maksim-Smelchak (talk) 16:54, 7 April 2015 (EDT)
BTW what is a codominium (equal minimums?), codominion (shared sovereignty; control) makes sense. Ronald B. Kline, Jr. (talk) 16:54, 7 April 2015 (EDT)
- Codominium: A series of sci-fi novels by Jerry Pournelle. In this case, it is a future government composed of a Cold War USA and USSR, mixed into one mega-bureaucracy. See here: Sci-fi Novel Series Link
- Dominium: A legal (lawyer, barrister, etc.) law term meaning "Dominion, control, ownership, etc.". Legal Term Link
- Dominium is a form of the word "Dominion", a better-known real-world political science term (...as in "Old Dominion"). Traveller has a number of Dominions, Dominates, or the like. I have them listed here: Empire Scroll down and you will see the 2.2 list of Dominions.

- Hope that helps, Ron. Maksim-Smelchak (talk) 17:01, 7 April 2015 (EDT)
Wow, OK now I just feel a bit dumb...thanks. Ronald B. Kline, Jr. (talk) 06:04, 8 April 2015 (EDT)
- Ron, please don't feel that way. I have degrees in International Relations, Political Science, Linguistics, and spent a good amount of time in the military dealing with political science studies as applied in real life. No one knows everything. Plus, all the creative writing you share with the Trveller Wiki is pretty impressive. Thanks for your hard work! Maksim-Smelchak (talk) 10:19, 8 April 2015 (EDT)
