The fact that this is legged implies that there is some form of transporter for heavy construction vehicles like this so they can be moved between sites. BackworldTraveller (talk) 01:52, 26 June 2020 (EDT)

The fact that this is slow and (especially) limited range implies that - perhaps not specifically for heavy construction vehicles, but usable for them. But that seems unremarkable. I've seen bulldozers on flatbed trucks IRL; I see no reason why similar carriers would not exist at TL-13. If modular cutter modules are a standard, then grav vehicles capable of carrying 30 tons would seem common. Atymes (talk) 03:43, 26 June 2020 (EDT)

Does it fold flat then so it will fit through the door arch of a cutter? How much space is it when folded up...there is probably a bit of waste...40dTons? BackworldTraveller (talk) 04:26, 26 June 2020 (EDT)

According to the rules, it only takes 5.5 dtons when shipped. Mongoose 2E Vehicles only gives a shipping tonnage (which includes any wasted space), not actual tonnage or size, so you could fit 5 of these in a standard modular cutter module with 2.5 dtons to spare. (See Skorp Landshaper/meta: a few space-saving measures were taken. But even without those, it's much smaller than 40 dtons.) Also, your earlier comment inspired Cuttermate Dirigible as an example of "some form of transporter". (Modular cutter modules? Very common. Industrial vehicles fitting within a 30 dton envelope? Common enough to make use of such capacity.) Atymes (talk) 15:28, 26 June 2020 (EDT)
